Free State PTA is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated Free State PTA Awards Ceremony, scheduled to take place on July 20, 2024. Join us as we come together to celebrate the outstanding contributions and achievements of our dedicated members, volunteers, educators, and students who have made a remarkable impact on our school community throughout the year.

Do you know an outstanding PTA member, educator, community leader, or local unit who has made a significant impact on our schools and students? We are now accepting nominations for the Free State PTA Awards Ceremony, which will be held during the upcoming Free State PTA Convention on July 20-21 at the Maritime Conference Center located in Linthicum Heights, MD.

 

This is your chance to recognize the dedication, hard work, and achievements of those who go above and beyond to support our educational community. We encourage you to nominate deserving individuals for the following categories:

Award Categories:

 

• President's Award: Honors a PTA member who has demonstrated exceptional commitment and service to their PTA and school community.

• Exemplary Educator: Recognizes an educator who has made significant contributions to students' academic and personal growth.

• Excellence in Advocacy Award: Celebrates a community leader who has positively impacted our schools and students through their dedication and advocacy.

• Volunteer of the Year: Acknowledges a volunteer who has provided invaluable support and service to their school and PTA.

• Student Achievement Award: Acknowledges a student who has achieved in academics and community involvement.

• Innovative Program Award: Highlights a PTA program or initiative that has successfully addressed a need within the school community and can serve as a model for others.

• Diversity and Inclusion Unit Award: Unit that exemplified DEI initiatives in their school community.

• Healthy Minds Unit Award - Unit that exemplified Health and Wellness initiatives in their school community.

 

To nominate someone for an award, please complete the nomination form  with the following information:

 

• Nominee’s name and contact information

• Award category

• A brief description (300-500 words) of the nominee’s contributions and why they deserve to be recognized

• Any supporting documents or testimonials

 

The deadline for nominations is July 8th. Please ensure all nominations are submitted by this date for consideration.
