Through this work, we hope to establish and enhance productive, collaborative, and trustworthy relationships between state boards of education and the American Academy of Pediatrics by working together to increase

parent and family engagement to address student mental health. We would looking for a Free State

PTA member to serve as a parent representative of the State of Maryland.
 

As the parent representative, you will be required to attend the following meetings:

• May 4 – 5, 2023: Kickoff meeting of the Building Bridges Initiative at AAP Headquarters in Itasca, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago)

• July 19 at 1 pm – 2 pm ET: Second meeting of the Building Bridges Initiative, Virtual

• September 20 at 1 pm – 2 pm ET: Third meeting of the Building Bridges Initiative, Virtual
